The Swarovski Foundation has launched Swarovski Foundation Institute: Creatives for Our Future. It is an international programme with the UN Office for partnerships to help identify and empower the next generation of talented creatives who demonstrate awareness, technologies, and solutions for social progress and sustainable development.
This global grant programme launches with a four-week open call for submissions from young talent (ages 18-25) across creative disciplines, including:
Those selected will receive a bursary, personal mentorship, educational training and industry networking access to support their developing practices, as well as an invitation to present in September 2021 during the UN General Assembly’s high-level segment.
The grant funding is paired with an educational programme in collaboration with top international institutions, tailored mentorship and industry networking connections with guidance from the Swarovski Foundation. Grant recipients will be given support to develop the innovations outlined in their applications. In addition, they will be encouraged to drive progress toward the Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The application and programme information can be found on www.sfcreatives.org, and worldwide applications will be accepted from March 9th to April 9th, 2021. On April 21st, UN World Creativity and Innovation Day, the successful award winners will be announced.
